Next-Gen Foldable Devices: On August 10, Samsung is planning to introduce its next line of foldable smartphones. The Galaxy Unpacked event will conclude with the release of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. The appearance of this phone has already been shown in the trailer of the event. Warning: This sentence contains a spoiler. While Samsung has yet to reveal what the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will look like, it looks similar to last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 4.
In the teaser video, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is shown from the side, sporting a silky design and showing off its recognizable flip. The Flip 4 is similar to the Flip 3 in that it retains the Power Key-mounted fingerprint scanner and sees the same dual camera layout at the back. The phone was also showcased, albeit in a recognizable Samsung lavender color with a metallic sheen.
Galaxy Unpacked Event Date: August 10 The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are reportedly not generational upgrades over the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, but rather minor upgrades. Samsung will highlight the changes that mostly focus on the form factor of the device. As a result, you can expect gadgets to be more manageable, lighter and smaller than the previous generation.
According to rumors, the biggest upgrade to the Fold this year after the Fold 2 is reportedly a new aspect ratio. The same idea is shown by leaked renderings, which show a larger primary screen. Especially for those who want a larger screen experience, this can significantly change the user experience. Like the Galaxy S22 series handsets, these phones are expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
